<HBK4LIFE> We had plans to meet in San Jose when the WWF was around, but never got around to it.

<Rev Lisa> She had serious health complications from birth but never took control of a conversation to make those of us more physically healthy guilty. We gather here now

To bid farewell to our friend Denise Hicks our Dee who must travel far. With her are the blessing from her God and from yours and of her good friends who are here some who are here in spirit. We are all with Dee with her

<Rev Lisa> as she travels to the beyond. There is a reason for being here

<PeterPorkr> ::cries not so silently::

<Rev Lisa> and being here in this world and in this life sometimes we wonder why. Why can our God make a person have to use a wheelchair or suffer between hospital visits? Where was God? .... with Dee and in Dee we saw it as she would help us talk to us give us encouragement because she intimately knew suffering and could share in yours. She knew happiness and could share in yours. She had the gift and she also beared a burden a little harder than most of us have

<Rev Lisa> In this world and in this life there is also a reason for leaving. When the purposes of life are done. We are grieving because we miss her and miss her we will so very much. But remember she is finally free of all the pain - the physical pain she bore without complaint. She fulfilled her purpose to each and everyone of us as a friend

<Rev Lisa> a confidante she was there. Yes, it is a time we all are going to say it is not fair! And as the archangel Michael said Who shall know the mind of God Who can be his counselor We dont know why she was taken right now and that is not why we are here not to grieve not to cry

<Rev Lisa> but to celebrate a woman who loved us all so much. We can only say - that God knows something we dont. She left this life with so many friends and a man she loved she leaves behind her little Iggy

<Rev Lisa> but she also leaves behind the pain and the wheelchair. Her soul is now beyond that pain

<Rev Lisa> the need to get help for physical needs. She now has time to pause to rest

to wait for those who are loved by her. That is true ---- so many of us fear death we hate to talk about it

<Rev Lisa> Now we have our Dee waiting for us and most importantly She will WALK toward each one of us when it is our time and hug us Imagine that sight!

<Rev Lisa> and happiness it is truly just like Dee over there. You may call it heaven
nirvana, summerland, it is now Dee's home and it knows, and she knows no pain. She can even watch her wrestling now without having to buy tickets.

<Rev Lisa> She is far from the cares of this world she is happy and she is finally free of those physical chains that bound her. I am now going to ask Jodi first to introduce herself and say a few words.

<Jodi> I am Jodi, I was married to Mark for almost 10 years. I never got to meet Dee in person. I rarely went to California for shows but we did meet here.... shortly after my divorce. I had a favor to ask, and didn't know who or really how to.... but I found Dee..... and she did help me with my problem, never telling me of all of her own problems we chatted almost daily for many months she never complained she was always upbeat and always had a smile for me and then when another friend of hers was in need she directed her to me hoping I could help her over a year later we did help each other and Dee quietly backed out of my life we didn't speak as much we checked on each other occassionally but I think she did what was needed most.... got 2 women together who needed friendship and understanding. I know that Mark took extra time whenever he was in her area

<Jodi> the one humbling thing about Mark was his care of his handicapped fans

<Jodi> children more so than older people, but Dee worked her way in with him somehow.

<Jodi> so as much as she loved wrestling and her Undertaker, she made a special place in his heart as well

<Jodi> and I just want to thank her now, because I don't think I ever did before for always listening to me, helping me when I asked without question..and for introducing me to someone who has become a very close friend

<Rev Lisa> My favorite story of Mark and Dee is the second time we went to a signing I was determined to get an autograph personal autograph for Dee. The rules are from WWF. I was there for that that you can not ask for signed autographs I told him I wanted one for me and Lisa and he signed - I tapped my fingers on the table and said and make this one out for Dee asked without question.. the second time we went to a signing I was determined to get an autograph

<Rev Lisa> She is a woman in California in a wheelchair. He said Dee Dee??? and immediately signed! The promoter just was shocked!

<MsPhenom> We shared our problems and yes, I knew of Dee's problems. But, as promised I kept them a secert from everyone. Dee was always with a smile and delight. Her best time was role playing on the net. She felt she could catch the world. I thank Dee for her friendship. And yes, we took her on a cyber ghost hunt I will miss her deeply but I know she is looking down right now and smiling at all of us
